Gasoline Price Upswing Comes to Halt As Stock Market Volatility Eases
MARKET CONDITIONS seemed to stabilize throughout the country Monday after recent volatility from the stock market and Persian Gulf situations sent prices on a temporary upward swing.
Only a few scattered areas in the East reported dealer tank wagon price increases of 0.5-1.0 cent Monday, and several markets from Texas westward began showing reductions of 0.5-1.0 cent.
Terminal and rack prices have come out of recent price hikes, and several major oil companies have begun reducing gasoline prices 0.3-0.5 cent in some areas of the East. Gasoline producers seem to be keeping up ...
