Mar. 7--Dr. Michael Katz, former chief economist for the Federal Communications Commission, will discuss antitrust policies and the high-tech new economy at Wednesday's meeting of the Cal Club of San Joaquin County.

Katz, now an economics professor with the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, will cover such topics as what the government might try to do against Microsoft, should you sell your Microsoft shares, and whether MediaOne constitutes a monopoly.
