SHE is more than 10 inches long and weighs in at a record-breaking quarter of a pound.
That makes Tarka the tarantula the heaviest spider in the world.
And it's all because this hairy, scary creature has one huge appetite.
Her usual diet is crickets, but she enjoys nothing better than settling down to two or three dead rats once a week.
