LEAVE the car at home and travel by bus? Getting into work by bus for 9am is okay, but getting home is a nightmare.
I work just out of the city, about three bus stops away. I leave the office at 5pm and by the time I arrive at the stop it's approximately 5.15pm. Buses come past and do not stop - because they are full. At least four usually pass, and then maybe one wil l stop - with standing room only.
After a long hard day at work and being semi-disabled I do not want to stand up most of the way home. On the occasions I have used the bus, it's not uncommon ...
