You went all the way from Wishaw to Gretna Green to tie the knot. Why?
We knew the juicy stories surrounding Gretna Green, the romance, the intrigue and the scandal. But the main reason we chose Gretna was because I'm Scottish and Nigel's English. And Gretna is where the two countries meet. It's the first village on the Scottish side of the border, and from the day we got engaged - last September - we knew straight away Gretna was the place we would say our vows.
