AN INVESTIGATION was today underway after a Midland man drowned and six people were taken to hospital when a dragon boat capsized during a practice race.

Police divers have recovered the body of Wayne Smith, of Deabill, Street, Netherfield, Nottingham, who was a paramedic with the East Midlands Ambulance Service.
