OH, my brothers, I've just been to viddy Alex and the droogs tolchocking a helpless tramp and indulging in a bit of the old in-and-out.
But it's all very different from the first time I saw A Clockwork Orange.
Back then I was whisked off to a five star hotel in London with supper at the Cafe Royal to celebrate the huge success of a film that the home secretary had demanded to see before letting the public watch so much sex and violence.
I was 25 years old and perfectly capable of saying all that drivel about 'viddying' with a straight face.
