Scots funnyman Billy Connolly is set to rub shoulders with the acting world's elite at the Cannes Film Festival.
But he's admitted he'll never make it as a luvvie after going to hell and back for his new movie Mrs Brown.
The Big Yin plays John Brown, the Highland ghillie alleged to have romanced Queen Victoria, in the film which premieres at Cannes on May 13.
Dame Judi Dench plays Victoria, while Anthony Sher and Geoffrey Palmer have plum parts.
But Billy thought Dame Judi was too good - and joked that BOB HOSKINS should play the queen.
