The furious Spice Girls last night launched a legal battle with The Mirror, complaining about my recent coverage of them.
Lawyers representing the formerly Fab Five fired off an extraordinary two-page letter, a rambling missive which claims we're waging a vendetta against the girls.
It seems they hate hearing anything bad about them.
Like, for instance, that sales of their new album Spiceworld are dismal - less than 300,000 of the 1.4 million in shops have been sold.
Or as I told yesterday how Spiceworld - The Movie had been panned by ...
