If Scotland is to have a new parliafment building, it should be built in Stirling or Perth - anywhere, in fact, but Edinburgh.
Our so-called capital city is now a squalid disgrace.
Drug users throng the pavements, Japanese tourists are beaten and robbed on Calton Hill, and a 15-year-old girl is raped in the city centre.
