I had a drama teacher at university who said that absolutely anyone can be a singer. I thought that was nonsense at the time but I now think she was right. I also believe that anyone can do impressions.

Doing accurate take-offs is largely to do with losing your inhibitions. Most people do one impression in front of their mates and when it doesn't work they go shy again. But if you stick at it you will be able to do a Brummie accent, a Geordie accent or any other. Honest!
