Father-Of-Three Alan Greaves spent 15 agonising years bent forward staring at the floor and looking horrifyingly like the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
A severe spinal disease reduced the 6ft 5in former policeman to a stooping wreck, unable even to change a light bulb. And it caused him years of unending pain, indigestion and disfigurement.
