IT was the TV talent show everyone loved to hate. ATV's New Faces featured the very best and the very WORST of Britain's showbusiness hopefuls.
And didn't they all look awful! Big hair, bushy sideburns, platform shoes, flares wider than Del Boy Trotter...the acts had one thing in common - they were all classic Seventies fashion victims.
It is now 21 years since the picture on the right was taken. All the performers had been winners on the show and now faced an even greater challenge - making the jump into the big league.
