JAKARTA, March 31 Asia Pulse - Wheat flour producers have asked the government to grant several small producers a monopoly for wheat imports if it could not strive for an import duty on the commodity.

"We have asked that only the producers be given such an import licence, just like in the case of sugar, in which only importer-producers are allowed to import," Bustanul Arifin, president of wheat flour producer PT Sriboga Raturaya, said here Thursday.
