WESTERN UNION MEETINGS ADJOURNED FOR VOTE COUNT
UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J., Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The annual meetings of Western Union Corporation (NYSE: WU) and The Western Union Telegraph Company (NYSE: WUTPr) have been adjourned to 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., respectively, on Monday, Dec. 14, 1987. When the meetings reconvene on Monday, the inspectors of election will report the results of the voting that was concluded today on Western Union's proposed restructuring plan and other meeting-agenda items.
