PROJECT OVERVIEW:

An international consortium was recently established in view of looking into the possibility of building a new polypropylene (PP) plant in China. The partners in the planned undertaking include MONTELL POLYOLEFINS, a subsidiary of the ROYAL DUTCH/SHELL GROUP of the Netherlands/UK and its Taiwanese affiliate in which it holds a 35% interest, TAIWAN POLYPROPYLENE CO. LTD. (TPP), in conjunction with the local QINGDAO KAILIAN GROUP.
