PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The Taiwanese government recently approved the construction plans of the local TUNTEX GAS CORP., a likely subsidiary of TUNTEX DISTINCT CORP., regarding the construction of a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Taiwan. The planned complex, to be sited at the Kuantan Industrial Park in the northern part of the country, is expected to require an investment of $2,970,000,000 to complete.
The planned base will reportedly extend over an area of 1,174 hectares (ha). The facility will include:
- 230 ha of reclaimed land;
- A 368 ha water zone;
