Joan Burnie's article `Men On The Shelf' about the high numbers of eligible men compared to women was very interesting.
But the Datelink spokeswoman left me doubting she had any real first- hand knowledge of the workings of today's teenage boys and young men.
She said: "The days of the male chauvinist pig are long gone."
Who is she trying to fool? I have two sons, aged 19 and 22, who are far bigger chauvinists than their father ever was.
