Big Foods Alimentos Congelados, Brazilian major frozen French bread producer, invested US$2mil to enlarge the production and to purchase new equipment. The company intends to lead the cheese bread market, achieving a monthly production of 1,500 until the end of 2000. Big Foods will also begin to export to Mercosul, and signed partnerships with Carrefour and with Pao de A=E7ucar to produce breads with the supermarkets' brands.
