The Minnesota Commission on Economic Security had enough evidence of misconduct to deny re-employment benefits when a worker was fired after he told his employer he would not be able to pass a drug test, a state court found.
Former truck driver Raymond Campbell tested positive for marijuana in a random drug test conducted by his employer, Harold's Cartage Inc. Subsequently, his responsibilities changed but he was permitted to stay with the company, contingent on remaining drug free.
