Celanese Warns Acetate Fibers Production Slows

Celanese Fibers, Inc., warned customers Friday that there may be "modest temporary production curtailments' of acetate fibers for the "next few weeks' in its Narrow, Va., and Rockhill, S.C., plants. The company cited heavy damages at the Hoechst Celanese Pampa, Texas, plant, resulting in a shortage of raw material.
