MIAMI - IBM this week announced a developers tool kit that will automate the process of writing business logic in Java.
The product is called IBM's VisualAge Application Rules. It will let users write customized rules that would normally require the services of skilled Java programmers. IBM believes this package, which translates the business rules into Java code, will appeal to those who need to craft Web based business-to-business transaction applications on the fly.
