Apr. 8--FedEx Express and a Jamaican company have teamed up to offer consumers around the world a taste of Jamaica -- from Blue Mountain coffee to hot pepper sauce and orange marmalade -- on the Internet.
The new virtual storefront offers discounted FedEx shipping on 28 Jamaican food and clothing items, online tracking of shipments and 24- to 48-hour guaranteed shipping to 210 countries.
"We feel strongly that this will be the first of many virtual storefront partnerships for FedEx Express in the region," said Cliff Deeds, FedEx managing director of marketing for Latin America and the Caribbean. The regional office is based in Miami.
