Apr. 5--The work of a landmark California photographer is moving to Cannery Row, filling a prime piece of property on the Monterey tourist strip.
After six years of showcasing the work of Ansel Adams at The Inn at Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach, the Ansel Adams Gallery has moved to 685 Cannery Row in Monterey.
"There's a vitality to Monterey, and to Cannery Row in particular, that we want to tap into," said Matthew Adams, vice president of Ansel Adams Gallery.
The store will open Monday, though passers-by may get a sneak peek by Thursday.
Adams is not related to the world-renowned photographer, but he knows the photographer's work will ...
