On Thursday, February 17th, the Board of Directors named Stephen Mills Artistic Director of Ballet Austin, following a year-long search that included candidates from nine countries. At the recent press conference announcing the selection, Cliff Ernst, President of the Board of Directors, committed the organization "to raise the bar of excellence for Austin" and invited the community to partner with the 44-year old non-profit organization "to put its footprint on the national dance scene."
