BEIJING, April 7 Asia Pulse - The rapid development of the public telecoms service network, special telecoms network and user access network has given a big boost to China's optic fiber and cable industry over the past 10 years, making it the third-largest optic cable producer in the world.
According to a report released by the CCID (Center of Computer and Microelectronics Industry Development) under the Ministry of Information Industry, China has so far had 10 optic fiber producers (including three under construction) and more than 150 optic cable producers.
