Burr-Brown Corp. recently appointed James Fowler as VP of its business development group, where he will be the point man for the $3 billion market cap company's M&A efforts.
Prior to joining Burr-Brown on March 13, Fowler was VP of network technology and products for the semiconductor group of Motorola Inc.
Fowler said that the business development group would help grow Burr-Brown via M&A.
The company's last M&A-related transaction was in September 1998, when Burr-Brown entered a licensing agreement with Pacific Microsonics Inc. to incorporate High Definition Compatible Digital (HDCD) decoding and HDCD digital decoding into a Burr-Brown ...
