Burr-Brown Corp. recently appointed James Fowler as VP of its business development group, where he will be the point man for the $3 billion market cap company's M&A efforts.

Prior to joining Burr-Brown on March 13, Fowler was VP of network technology and products for the semiconductor group of Motorola Inc.

Fowler said that the business development group would help grow Burr-Brown via M&A.
