Michael Jordan may have his own apparel brand within Nike, but fellow former hoops star Charles Barkley has just gotten his own network.
In true cutting-edge Nike form, the company is continually beefing up its Web site with nontraditional content. Most recently the company offered Nike i.d., where Internet surfers could custom design their latest pair of Nike sneaks. Now comes the ability to log on and see interviews and various banter with former NBA star Charles Barkley. Nike is so excited about this idea, in fact, they are billing this addition to Nike.com as the Charles Barkley Network.
