WHEN most of us reach retirement the last thing we would think of doing would be to take up a part-time job. But that is just what Jim Cooney did.
He was just at the retirement age of 65 when he joined the Birmingham Alexander Technique centre in Hockley and has been teaching there ever since.
Now aged 84 he spends one day each week on the seventh floor of the Big Peg in the Jewellery Quarter helping his clients improve their movement and posture.
