More than 125 merchants will contribute to Nashville Public Television's on-air auction of travel, entertainment and dining goods and services, during Channel 8's live "Passport 2000" broadcast, 7 p.m.-11 p.m., Friday-Saturday, April 28-29.
The unprecedented charitable event supports NPT's 'round-the-clock broadcast operations, which cost $5.8 million, annually. NPT Channel 8 is middle Tennessee's PBS member station.
