JAKARTA, April 11 Asia Pulse - After five years Indonesia may no longer need to have its debts rescheduled by the Paris Club, a National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) official says.
"We hope that our budget deficit will not be more than one percent (of GDP), with a growth rate of six percent, and an inflation of not more than two percent. If this condition prevails, it means that our economy has recovered, and we no longer need debt rescheduling," said Muhammad Abduh, financing and control deputy of Bappenas, said.
However, if the economic recovery needs a longer period, the government would still have its debts rescheduled.
