Q The last time I interviewed job candidates, I had a difficult time remembering who was who. I think it would be a good idea to tape-record interviews, so I don't confuse the various applicants, but the physician I work for isn't sure. What do you think?
A It's a terrible idea. You'd have to ask the candidates' permission, and being recorded would probably make them very uncomfortable. Instead, review each prospect's resume immediately before the applicant enters ...
