Carl Everett has played a total of two games at Fenway Park, but one thing already seems clear.
He's an impact player.
In the home opener on Tuesday, he made his presence felt with two home runs, one from the left side and another from the right. And in the Red Sox' 7-3 victory over the Minnesota Twins last night at Fenway, the center fielder not only made rumbles with his bat again (2-for-4, 2 RBI), but he made what was possibly a game-saving play in the field in the second inning when, with the bases loaded and nobody out, he hauled in Jason Maxwell's blast to the gap in left-center while in full gallop toward the wall.
