The nationally touring art exhibition To Conserve a Legacy: American Art from Historically Black Colleges and Universities recently opened at The Art Institute of Chicago.
The exhibit highlights for the first time the invaluable treasures from the art collections of six historically Black colleges and universities.
At a special preview showing of the exhibition, the To Conserve a Legacy Gala Committee at The Art Institute of Chicago honored Mrs. Eunice W. Johnson, secretary/ treasurer of Johnson Publishing Co.
