In years to come, yesterday will be viewed as a defining moment in Washington Redskins history, owner Dan Snyder said after the Redskins selected second and third overall in the NFL Draft.
In the meantime, it certainly will remain an unforgettable moment for those selections, LaVar Arrington and Chris Samuels.
"I'm pinching myself every 15 minutes to make sure I'm not sleeping," Samuels said. "If I am sleeping, don't wake me up. I'm getting another five minutes."
