CarrAmerica Realty Corp., the District-based commercial real estate company, has been performing better than expected, but its stock has been depressed as investors have remained fixated on Internet stocks.
But recently there have been indications that investors are starting to back away from unprofitable Internet companies and are looking for new places to invest, analysts say.
That is good news for real estate investment trusts such as CarrAmerica.
