Mr Terence Peter Wilcock of Bradford was sentenced to 30 months at Bradford Crown Court for tax cheat.

Wilcock, a car dealer, pleaded guilty to one offence of common law cheat with a total tax loss of GBP275,000 including interest.

He received 30 months imprisonment and, to serve 15 months. He is to pay back GBP275,000 within 9 months (by way of a confiscation order) failing which a five years consecutive sentence in default is ordered.
