Athletes from the Australian Institute of Sport have reacted angrily to recent suggestions that they are associated with the use of performance enhancing substances and drug use.

The chairman of the AIS Athletes Commission, Brennon Dowrick, said today that the fallacious and unsubstantiated accusations levelled at AIS athletes by self admitted drug cheats was having a serious effect on the morale of scholarship athletes.
