Spring has sprung and springtime and canton Ticino are made for each other. As the winter months fade, sap rises and balmy sunshine replaces grey skies and misty gloom, it is one of the best times to sample what have been well described as "the low-risk Latin delights" of Switzerland's Italian-speaking corner.
