It's 9 o'clock on a Wednesday,
Yvette's regulars shuffle in.
There's Bob Solone at the baby grand,
Playing Rodgers, LeGrand and Gershwin.
It was about 3 a.m. that night in 1991 when Bob Djahanguiri's phone rang and he awoke to the excited voice of one of his employees.
Big things were happening at Yvette, Djahanguiri's Gold Coast nightspot, things the boss would want to see.
About 1 a.m., Harry Connick Jr. had slid behind the piano and some two hours later, the man who crooned his way into America's heart courtesy of the "When Harry Met Sally" soundtrack, was still holding court.
