WASHINGTON - New Big Dig chief Andrew Natsios and top federal transportation officials will be grilled about the project's nearly $2 billion cost overruns by a Senate panel next week.
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), the failed GOP presidential candidate and a vocal Big Dig critic, will lead hearings next Wednesday by the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee.
McCain is chairman of the committee.
Also appearing will be U.S. Transportation Secretary Rodney Slater and Transportation Inspector General Kenneth Meade.
