St. Charles High School inducted eight graduates into its alumni hall of fame on Friday.

The graduates were recognized with the school's third annual Distinguished Alumni Awards dinner at Hotel Baker.

Plaques, with pictures of the award winners, will be displayed at the school. Winners also were invited back to their alma mater to share their success stories with students.

"The whole point is to help build a tradition in terms of having graduates recognized and having them come back to the school to share their knowledge and expertise with students," said Robert McBride, assistant principal.
