Motorists dreading potential traffic jams during construction of a railroad underpass along County Farm Road are getting somewhat of a reprieve: The project has been delayed until next year.
Whether that's good or bad news depends on your point of view.
"We're going to be faced with these problems whether it happens this year or next year," Winfield Village President John Kirschbaum said Wednesday. "Speaking for myself, I'd just as soon they just get on with it and get it finished."
