Wheeling High School students are hosting the 30 Hour Famine in order to raise money for starving children. The event began last night and will end at 6 p.m. today.
"We get so used to what we have in the U.S. We always want more. Thirty Hour Famine helps us to see what we have and how we can bless others with what we have," senior and participant K.T. McClure said.
Thirty Hour Famine is sponsored by World Vision, a Christian relief organization, in order to give students in the U.S. a better understanding of world hunger.
