If you know what it means to miss New Orleans then you won't want to miss the 17th annual French Quarter Festival this April 14-16. The historic Vieux Carre will be transformed into a huge free concert, with 13 stages featuring jazz, rhythm & blues, Cajun & Zydeco, gospel, classical, swing, international and the many diverse sounds that make up the city's rich cultural gumbo. The fun begins on Friday with a second-line parade down Bourbon Street and continues throughout the weekend.
