(NYSE: AVE), announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved 5 mg Actonel(R) (risedronate sodium tablets) for the treatment and prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis (PMO) and glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis (GIO).
