Emisphere Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: EMIS) today announced preliminary clinical data confirming pre- clinical findings that its technology can effect adequate oral heparin delivery in a capsule dosage form.

In this study a solid dosage form of heparin and Emisphere's proprietary carrier, SNAC, facilitated a two fold increase in anti-coagulant response at doses comparable to doses of heparin and carrier being evaluated in the Company's current Phase III program.
