Youth programs at Schaumburg's Prairie Center for the Arts just got a shot in the arm.
Groups such as the Schaumburg Youth Symphony and the Schaumburg Dance Ensemble will benefit from a bash held Friday at the Avalon Banquets in Elk Grove Village. Likewise the center's summer musical and storytelling festival stand to gain from the benefit.
Supporters, led by Schaumburg Village President Al Larson, and members of the Prairie Center for the Arts Foundation board gathered for the elegant dinner party.
