Three Illinois Appellate Court justices Tuesday lifted an order banning the Illinois Gaming Board from considering a planned casino in Rosemont.
They also rejected a move by Lake County developers to keep the court case surrounding the gambling barge on home turf.
The actions amounted to victories for Rosemont and Emerald Casino Inc., both of which successfully lobbied the General Assembly last year to open Cook County to casino gambling.
