The Prairie Center Arts Foundation plans to transform a local banquet hall into an island getaway Feb. 18 to raise money for arts programming at Schaumburg's Prairie Center for the Arts.
"It's an evening to pretend like it's summer," said Lucinda Flodin, development coordinator at the village-owned performing arts center. "Think warm thoughts."
